Company History - An Enterprise VPN Provider

Founded in July 2002, AccessAnywhere brought it's first SSL VPN appliance to market in late 2003 after extensive research, development and market testing.

Developed in conjuction with leading technology vendor Sun Microsystems, AccessAnywhere SSL VPN appliances were sold to large enterprises and service providers throughout North America.

By the end of 2004, although the SSL VPN appliance marketplace was becoming increasingly crowded, availability of this incredible technology was still largely out of reach of small and medium sized businesses.

A Small Business Solution - The Managed VPN Service

Striving to address the void in the small business market, AccessAnywhere set out in early 2005 to transform it's enterprise level SSL VPN product into a fully supported, turn-key "VPN-As-A-Service" offering designed and priced specifically for smaller companies.

AccessAnywhere developed a unique "hybrid" architecture that leverages dedicated VPN appliances on each client site, combined with centralized policy control, authentication and management. It was unrivalled in the industry and allowed us to deliver enterprise-grade technology to our customers in a highly affordable subscription based model.

By September 2005 the AccessAnywhere managed VPN service was live, and our first clients were on-line. Many of those initial clients are still with us today.

An Industry Leader - Then And Now

In 2006, AccessAnywhere received accolades from the Stratecast Group's Michael Suby when while being recognized as one of only three VPN service providers targetting the SMB marketplace, he said,
